Clinical Nurse Specialist

Cone Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Cancer Center team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients' conditions to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality care delivery and professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical procedures, protocols, and practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred)
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification
