Role of the CDL Operator: The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure the thorough inspection, cleaning, repair, and rehabilitation of sewer and stormwater pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Operate and drive specialized equipment.
  • Access manholes and underground structures safely.
  • Monitor and operate pumps as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience operating a Class A or B vehicle, preferably a vacuum truck.
  • Tanker endorsement is required or must be willing to obtain.
  • Willingness to learn and operate additional company equipment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, D.O.T. physical, and meet background requirements. We are a second chance employer.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for over 8 hours a day, including standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
  • Capability to enter confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses as needed.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, non-exempt role. Workdays are typically Monday through Friday, with potential for shift work, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Flexibility is essential as job duties may require travel across the state and occasionally out of state.
