Pediatric Nurse Specialist

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where we strive to provide exceptional care to our young patients. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to children and adolescents. Your expertise will be invaluable in assisting patients with radiologic diagnostic studies and procedures, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prep and assess patients for radiologic diagnostic studies
  • Assist with anesthesia induction and procedural involvement
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and educate patients/families
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and assist in crises and emergencies

Requirements:

  • BSN required
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
  • American Heart Association CPR and PALS certification
  • 1+ year experience as an RN, with 2 years Pediatric Cardiac/ICU experience highly preferred
