Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and administering prescribed medications and treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, and family members on client problems and concerns
Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
