Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience.
  • Reliable transportation.
