Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Associate will report directly to the Environmental Services Director and is responsible for ensuring the community remains clean and safe for residents, families, staff, and visitors.
The role includes cleaning common areas and may involve cleaning resident units, personal laundry, bed linens, and towels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean resident units as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, bathtubs/showers, countertops, mirrors, and floors
- Clean kitchen areas, including counters and floors
- Dust all surfaces while being mindful of residents' belongings
- Vacuum all exposed areas and wash windows as needed
- Ensure cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and activity areas
- Maintain housekeeping and laundry carts
- Wash and dry community laundry using appropriate products
- Follow emergency procedures for chemical handling
- Communicate effectively with the Environmental Services Director and other staff members
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Some maintenance experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically capable of bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces, as well as standing for extended periods.
Miscellaneous:
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Exposure to various conditions may occur while performing job duties.
