Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Officer to support the management of assigned programs, develop project work products, and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in international education, international development, or a related field, and a minimum of three years of experience working in a non-profit or development and/or education-focused organization.

The Program Officer will be responsible for developing and managing work plans and timelines, organizing program events, and conducting training and site visits. They will also provide monitoring and evaluation efforts, track participant numbers and program indicators, and work with program participants and alumni to track success stories and program impact data.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of trends in domestic and international education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage work plans and timelines for overlapping award cycles and multiple project activities.
  • Organize program events and conduct training and site visits.
  • Provide monitoring and evaluation efforts and track participant numbers and program indicators.
  • Work with program participants and alumni to track success stories and program impact data.
  • Compile and track a wide range of participant information and program data, maintaining accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in international education, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a non-profit or development and/or education-focused organization.
  • International work or study experience required.
  • Experience with procurement procedures and sub-award management, as well as creating, managing and monitoring budgets.
