Work Schedule: Standard Shift
Onsite Requirement: Position requires presence at the designated location in Lexington, MA
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm
Client Note: "Candidates with substantial experience are preferred, particularly those with expertise in iPSC (induced pluripotent stem cell) culture or relevant industry experience."
Important Considerations: While industry experience is not mandatory, familiarity with the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous. A degree in Biology or Biochemistry is preferred. Candidates must possess tissue culture experience (sterile technique); experience with iPSC, ESC, or pluripotent stem cell culture is highly desirable.
Key Requirements:
1) Proficiency in Tissue Culture
2) Experience collaborating with scientists to adhere to established protocols
3) Strong Communication and Organizational Skills
Objective: To deliver technical laboratory research support for various projects aimed at the rapid development and assessment of human in vitro models and assays.
Core Responsibilities: Collaborate with scientists to execute laboratory studies that bolster project initiatives.
• Conduct tissue culture operations with human cell lines to refine and enhance workflows for cell model development and quality assurance.
• Assist in project management tasks, including the formulation of standard operating procedures, sharing expertise, and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues within the organization.
Physical Demands: No overnight travel required:
• Engage with human cell lines, recombinant DNA, and standard molecular biology reagents in a laboratory setting that may involve hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens.
• Responsibilities may necessitate occasional morning, evening, or weekend hours beyond standard business hours.
