Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technologies for next generation advanced communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop communication system research, analysis, and simulation of modulation, coding, machine learning, and link layer algorithms.
  • Assignments will involve communication system research, analysis, and simulation of modulation, coding, machine learning, and link layer algorithms as they apply to unique military communication challenges.
  • Design and explore approaches for signal estimation algorithms and data analysis techniques.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or similar field.
  • In lieu of a PhD, an MS in the above areas with a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience will be considered.
  • Experience with communication and information theory is desirable.
  • Equally open to applicants with a demonstrated background in a relevant technical area, such as mathematics, computer science, and/or physics, who have a strong interest and motivation to apply their skills to problems in communications.
