Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Palliative Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, adhering to standards of practice, and following company policies and procedures.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the care plan, administering treatments, and collaborating with team members to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Providing direct patient care as outlined in the State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end-of-life care.
  • Coordinating hospice services and effectively communicating identified needs to the interdisciplinary team, including Hospice Aides, Director of Clinical Services – Hospice, and Chaplains.
  • Administering appropriate pain and symptom management.

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license
- Valid Driver's License
- Associate Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma

- 1 year of required experience
