Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to join our team. This pivotal role is designed to enhance our cybersecurity framework by collaborating with various business units to mitigate cybersecurity threats effectively. The ideal candidate will act as a key advisor, focusing on identifying, maintaining, and refining cybersecurity measures through a risk-based methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent cybersecurity incidents.
- Analyze alerts and gather relevant data from diverse analytical platforms, assessing potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Compile comprehensive reports that detail the background, analysis process, and conclusions drawn from security incidents.
- Examine network traffic, system logs, and metadata to identify patterns and anomalies, correlating data for effective alerting and detection.
- Utilize programming and scripting skills to automate routine tasks, enhancing efficiency in data processing and reporting.
- Interpret intrusion detection and prevention system alerts as part of a multi-layered security strategy.
- Contribute to the Security Incident Response Team by refining processes, developing training materials, and creating investigative playbooks.
- Engage in proactive threat hunting and collaborative security exercises to bolster our understanding of the threat landscape.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to various business functions, ensuring alignment of technical and business requirements with cybersecurity policies.
- Advocate for cybersecurity risk management during the planning and implementation of new initiatives.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of information security regulations and best practices, including PCI, SOC, and HIPAA compliance.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of the information security strategy, establishing metrics to evaluate the performance of the Security Incident Response Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the cybersecurity domain.
