Job Summary

Palm Medical Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient information through thorough interviews and accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct preliminary physical tests, including vital signs, to prepare patients for examination.
  • Secure patient information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Counsel patients by transmitting physician's orders and addressing their concerns.
  • Schedule appointments, verify times, and prepare charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to established standards and procedures.
  • Manage supplies by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain effective systems to ensure timely patient flow.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience with EMR systems.
  • 1 year of experience with vital signs.
  • ECW experience (preferred).
  • Phlebotomy, EKG, and PFT injection administration skills.
  • Knowledge of Managed Care (preferred).
  • Hedis (preferred).
  • BLS Certification (required).
  • Certified Medical Assistant (required).
