Caregiver for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Job Summary:As a Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help our clients achieve their personal goals. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' well-being, safety, and happiness.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Develop a schedule for hours assigned to clients and work on goals identified by the care plan.
- Provide respite care if needed and complete timecards and services provided daily.
- Report any needs to the direct supervisor.
- Competitive pay, ranging from $15 to $17 per hour.
- Paid travel between clients.
- Flexible schedules, including full-time and part-time options.

- Experience in caregiving, including previous experience as a CNA, HHA, BHT, caregiver, or caretaker.
- Education, including completion of the DCW test (training is available for free).
- Skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the office team.
- Characteristics, including self-motivation and a willingness to learn.
- Certifications, including CPR, First Aid, TB-reading negative, Level on fingerprint clearance card, Article 9, Prevention and Support.
