Funeral Service Professional

We are seeking a skilled Funeral Director to join our team at Vertin Company. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for arranging and conducting funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional and caring manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional and caring manner.
- Perform tasks related to preparation of the deceased, including removal and transfer, embalming, cosmetology, hairstyling, dressing, and casketing.
- Build strong relationships with the community through active involvement in area organizations and participation in charitable events.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in Funeral Directing and embalming.
- Accountability for serving families in a professional, compassionate, patient, and timely manner.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with MS Office and social media.
- Strong organizational skills.
Educational Requirements:
- Degree from an Accredited Mortuary Science Program.
- Successful completion of the National Board Examination.
- Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination.
- Valid Funeral Director and/or Embalmer State Licensure.
- Valid Driver's License.
