Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for profit and loss.
  • Strategically plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operational activities within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies and cost-efficient systems to address the organization’s current requirements while ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Formulate and enforce operational policies and procedures aimed at improving overall performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of activities with overarching business objectives.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing practices while assessing new technologies and methodologies to improve production processes.
  • Establish and track performance metrics, taking corrective actions as needed to achieve set objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience in operations management.
  • Proven track record of fostering continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Experience in evaluating, enhancing, and automating key analytical capabilities across departments using ERP systems to inform decisions and maximize organizational value.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to collaborate and build consensus in high-pressure environments.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Regular activities include standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, turning, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Visual acuity, speech, and hearing must be within normal limits.
