Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant at Rutland Regional Medical Center performs structured assessment and treatment based on the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist. This role requires strong communication skills to interact with physicians, allied health professionals, and patients/families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Conducts patient assessments and documents progress
  • Communicates effectively with healthcare team members
  • Provides patient and family education
  • Documents all information gathered

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program
  • Currently licensed in the state of employment
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospital setting
  • Relevant clinical continuing education in area of expertise

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $33.09 per hour. Additionally, competitive differentials rates are offered for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
