Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant at Rutland Regional Medical Center performs structured assessment and treatment based on the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist. This role requires strong communication skills to interact with physicians, allied health professionals, and patients/families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Conducts patient assessments and documents progress
- Communicates effectively with healthcare team members
- Provides patient and family education
- Documents all information gathered
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program
- Currently licensed in the state of employment
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a hospital setting
- Relevant clinical continuing education in area of expertise
Compensation
The pay range for this role is $33.09 per hour. Additionally, competitive differentials rates are offered for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
