Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of our Physical Therapy Clinical Manager and/or a Physical Therapist to provide structured assessment and treatment based on the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structured assessment and treatment based on the plan of care developed by a Physical Therapist.
  • Identify patient reaction to treatments performed and make recommendations for treatment changes to the Physical Therapist.
  • Document patient information and progress according to policy.
  • Promote communication of patient care information among team members.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  • Evidence of relevant clinical continuing education in area of expertise.
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Currently licensed in the state of employment.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Patient and family teaching skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve complex cases.
  • Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.

Compensation:

$51.79 per hour.
