Job Description

BAE Systems USA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in Mount Laurel, NJ.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with the engineering support services team and the government project lead to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and communicate clear and concise technical information to the government project lead.
  • Assess and evaluate testing aspects conducted by the developer and other government agencies.
  • Coordinate and plan system testing events and necessary support with the T&E, System Engineering, Logistics, Cyber, and Division teams.
  • Facilitate quick communication of customer requirements and requests to the engineering support services staff.
  • Provide daily updates to the Baseline Coordinator manager and BAE Systems USA on government requests and actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering in any recognized discipline.
  • Minimum of two years' experience with the US Navy/Aegis Combat System.
  • Previous experience in a responsible engineer role is desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Professional Tool Suite.
  • Ability to recognize, react, and understand your role in a chain of command structure.
  • Familiarity with digital applications.
  • Detailed understanding of the Aegis Combat System data analysis structure.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Technical writing experience.
  • Current DOD Security Clearance.
