Job Title: Lead Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team at Moody Rambin. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and porters to ensure the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and porters to ensure the efficient operation of our properties.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans to ensure the optimal performance of our buildings.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and porters to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure that we are getting the best possible service and value for our money.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including work orders, invoices, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of our employees and tenants.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in HVAC design or technical school training may be substituted for a portion of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of building operations, building automation systems, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire & safety, elevators, security, structural, and roof systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
