Core Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will undertake the following key tasks:

  • Engaging with clients to foster business relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  • Estimating project costs, preparing quotes, and conducting HVAC load assessments.
  • Interpreting construction plans and utilizing AutoCAD as necessary.
  • Overseeing project management to align with specifications, timelines, and client expectations.
  • Coordinating technician schedules to guarantee timely project execution.
  • Managing project responsibilities including client interactions, on-site meetings, equipment procurement, subcontractor oversight, scheduling, and financial tracking.
  • Ensuring project profitability and timely management of change orders.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members, subcontractors, clients, and other trades.
  • Exhibiting adaptability to project demands and working outside standard hours when required.
  • Acquiring supplier quotes, purchasing necessary equipment, and drafting subcontracts.
  • Carrying out tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Maintaining a professional and minimally disruptive work environment for clients.
  • Supporting other departments and enhancing skills through training opportunities.
  • Involving management in conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Delivering exceptional service to exceed client expectations and promote repeat business.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • Experience in Commercial HVAC, either through education or practical experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong communication skills.
