Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary: The Registered Nurse provides age-appropriate care to patients based on their individual physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. The Registered Nurse may rotate to other areas outside of their assigned service area and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse executes delegated duties consistent with their scope of practice and operates within the philosophy and overall care delivery plan at North Suburban Medical Center. The RN cares for geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient populations.
Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or an active multistate Registered Nurse license. Current AHA or ARC BLS Certification and current AHA or ARC ACLS certification are required.
B. Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
C. Experience: 1 to 2 years of acute care or specialty nursing experience is desired.
D. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Demonstrates strong organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with the Standards of Nursing Practice at North Suburban Medical Center. Exhibits sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Communicates professionally and positively with all internal and external stakeholders.
