We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian - Clinical Specialist to join our team at South Paw Animal Care in South Hadley, MA.

About the Position:

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and compassionate veterinarian to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-notch care to patients and their owners. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of veterinary procedures, including surgeries, dental care, and preventative medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and medical treatments
  • Conduct surgical procedures, including orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries
  • Provide dental care, including cleanings, extractions, and fillings
  • Offer preventative medicine, including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Massachusetts
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinarian, preferably in small animal practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
