The Senior Cyber Security Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding University Health's sensitive healthcare data. This position demands a deep understanding of information security protocols and a passion for protecting Community First Health Plans Inc.

The Senior Analyst will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining security standards across University Health. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and managing security solutions, as well as communicating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

This role champions awareness and influences compliance with security policies, providing solutions for business-specific security issues. The Senior Analyst oversees day-to-day identity access management and quarterly required audits, owns and oversees disaster recovery plans, and coordinates business continuity plans with the compliance and risk management team.

As a thought leader and enterprise subject matter expert (SME) for federal and state information security regulations and standards, the Senior Analyst must possess a Bachelor's degree plus five years of progressive experience working in information technology, security, or risk management.

Required certifications include CISSP, CASP+, CRISC, CISA. Healthcare experience is highly desirable. The Senior Analyst must have a functional understanding of federal/state regulations and compliance mandates, including but not limited to HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, and other regulatory audits.

MITE ATT&CK experience in building threat detections, performing threat hunting, and conducting incident response is essential. Familiarity with enterprise logging technologies such as Splunk is also required. Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery planning and testing experience is a must.

Key technologies and areas of expertise include:

  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, macOS
  • Security: EDR/XDR, SIEMs, Data Loss and Prevention (DLP), Vulnerability Scanning and Assessment tools

The ideal candidate will have five years of minimum experience with the above technologies or areas.
