Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. David's Georgetown Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasonography techniques to include vascular exams. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating anatomy for interpretation by a Cardiologist/Radiologist, exercising professional judgment in the performance of services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasonography techniques to include vascular exams.
  • Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation by a Cardiologist/Radiologist.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services.
Qualifications
  • Certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of vascular ultrasound.
  • Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
  • One year of vascular imaging experience/ultrasound experience.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Preferred: ARDMS in AB, OB/GYN and/or BR or RDCS by ARDMS or CCI.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
