We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality food production for our menu items and specials.
Key Responsibilities- Food Production: Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality food production for our menu items and specials, ensuring consistency and quality in all aspects of food preparation.
- Team Leadership: Direct, train, and monitor the performance of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and high-quality food production.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to ensure efficient food production and minimize waste.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a line cook, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Communication: Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, certification of culinary training preferred.
- Certifications: Safe food handling certificate.
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as B.E.O.'s, safety rules, procedure manuals.
