Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will provide specialized cardiovascular imaging interpretation and contribute to the advancement of medical education and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Provide training to medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Radiology.
  • Research: Maintain professional relationships with the Department of Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiology.
  • Service: Participate in academic service-related activities, including committee work, professional growth, and other assignments.
  • Clinical: Provide high-quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of referring physicians and patients.
Requirements
  • ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
  • Experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
  • Eligibility for a Virginia medical license and permanent employment in the USA.
