Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Radiologist to join our team at VCU Health. The successful candidate will provide sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of the referring physicians and patients of VCUHS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching – Provide training to medical students, residents and fellows, who rotate through the Department of Radiology.
  • Research - Maintain professional relationships established with the Department of Critical Care and Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery, and Cardiology as well as other subspecialty programs.
  • Service – Time and effort is expected to be devoted to academic service-related activities.
  • Clinical – Provide high quality, sub-specialized imaging interpretations for assigned modalities.

Requirements:

  • Have ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination;
  • Be fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology;
  • Applicants must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU;
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license; must be eligible for permanent employment in the USA.
