We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer/Editor to support our client in Norfolk, VA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, active NATO or National Secret Security Clearance, and 5 years of experience capturing complex technical requirements in coordination with SMEs. Responsibilities include developing requirement documents, translating technical information into clear and concise language, and supporting procurement activities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with acquisition publications, NATO or National procurement/financial regulations, and requirements documents is required. The Technical Writer/Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the development of contract requirements documents.

**Responsibilities:**

* Develop requirement documents, including Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, and other procurement-related documents
* Translate complex technical information into clear and concise language
* Support procurement activities, including preparing Requests for Proposals and participating in Solicitation Review Boards
* Assist in drafting and staffing business cases to support special requests or requests for deviation from normal methods of procurement
* Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree
* Active NATO or National Secret Security Clearance
* 5 years of experience capturing complex technical requirements in coordination with SMEs
* 5 years of experience writing, reviewing, and editing requirements and specifications for contract solicitations
* Demonstrated ability to acquire and present information through independent reading, interviews with subject-matter experts, and written interpretation of data visualizations
* Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with others
* Familiarity with acquisition publications, NATO or National procurement/financial regulations, and requirements documents
