Key Responsibilities
As a Strategic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and refining DoorDash's strategic approach to fraud by working on policy, operations, engineering, and analytics needed to protect our audiences from bad actors.
- Analyzing fraud vectors across our platform to complete end-to-end analysis that allows us to better identify the bad actors on our platform and improve the experience of good users.
- Conceptualizing, testing, and implementing policies that stop bad actors while protecting good users.
- Influencing and engaging across the company by partnering with the product, engineering, machine learning, and analytics teams to establish goals and build the systems that catch and prevent abuse.
- Improving through experimentation by using data-driven decision-making to run tests in order to reduce fraud while accelerating growth.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related experience.
- Experience leading large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel.
