We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Manager to join our team at DoorDash USA. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will play a critical role in reducing the cost of fraud and building solutions to protect our platform from would-be fraudsters.


Key Responsibilities

As a Strategic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:


  • Establishing and refining DoorDash's strategic approach to fraud by working on policy, operations, engineering, and analytics needed to protect our audiences from bad actors.
  • Analyzing fraud vectors across our platform to complete end-to-end analysis that allows us to better identify the bad actors on our platform and improve the experience of good users.
  • Conceptualizing, testing, and implementing policies that stop bad actors while protecting good users.
  • Influencing and engaging across the company by partnering with the product, engineering, machine learning, and analytics teams to establish goals and build the systems that catch and prevent abuse.
  • Improving through experimentation by using data-driven decision-making to run tests in order to reduce fraud while accelerating growth.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • 6+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related experience.
  • Experience leading large projects, hitting goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and expertise in Excel.
