Job Title: Development Committee Chair

Beacon Charitable Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Committee Chair to join our Board of Directors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating committee members to achieve fundraising goals, working in collaboration with the Executive Director and Full-Circle Fundraising to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy, and overseeing the planning and execution of fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Development Committee and motivate committee members to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy in collaboration with the Executive Director and Full-Circle Fundraising.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring effective stewardship.
Qualifications:
  • Strong background or a desire to learn and grow in fundraising, development, and donor relations, ideally in the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for health equity, social justice, and community service.
