Job Summary

The Viking Group is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to pipe fabrication, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipe components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various machines and equipment, including rotary chop saws, band saws, and threaders, to cut and thread pipe to required specifications.
  • Handle and move pipe along the length of tables and load/unload pipe onto carts or crates for staging in loading areas.
  • Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machines to apply grooved pipe ends.
  • Thread pipe using threaders and apply fittings using Mercury or Pace Make-on machines.
  • Perform other tasks as required, including operating band saws to cut threaded rod to specified lengths and installing hanger devices.
Requirements
  • Previous welding experience is a plus.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to read tape measures in " increments.
