Airport Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Design Engineer to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE). As a leading transportation design and consulting firm, we deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse project needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D for airport infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of senior engineers/designers.
- Conduct field work as directed by senior engineers/designers.
- Assist in various engineering tasks on projects of different complexities.
- Collect data and information to support design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards.
- Create engineering models to meet project specifications and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with a strong focus on client service.
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Excel is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must complete a pre-employment screening.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
- EIT required; licensed in FL desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of airport design experience with a strong knowledge of FAA standards.
This position predominantly involves up to 8 hours per day at a computer workstation, with occasional standing and walking. The employee may occasionally lift lightweight office supplies and materials, typically not exceeding 20 pounds. The office environment is indoors, characterized by controlled temperatures and minimal exposure to adverse conditions. Must have visual acuity to recognize/change/add precise details on CAD drawings. During fieldwork, the position entails moderate physical exertion, encompassing walking, standing, bending, and ascending stairs or ladders. Fieldwork exposes the employee to various environmental conditions, including but not limited to loud noise levels, dust, dirt, and temperature fluctuations.
Compensation:The Salary Range for this position is $58,000 - $110,000 and is dependent on education, experience, certifications/licensure, and current market trends.
