Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Design Specialist to join our team at Garver. As a key member of our aviation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing airport projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop plans, specifications, and reports for airside and landside projects at commercial service and general aviation airports
  • Coordinate project needs with internal and external design teams
  • Attend and participate in client review meetings
  • Correspond with clients through various communication channels
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Perform construction administration tasks, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Passed the FE exam, with intent to pursue PE
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD programs, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
