Job Title: Account Executive

A rapidly growing Ohio-based full-service event rental company is seeking a highly motivated and charismatic professional to join their team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing consistent growth with existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
  • Utilize our proven sales playbook to present our products and services to current and prospective customers.
  • Assist with answering phones and meeting with clients to create quotes and assist with event design, order changes, and questions.
  • Closing sales by converting quotes into reservations, explaining delivery/pickup options, and payment options.
  • Search the web, social media, and industry sources to learn about prospective customers.
  • Follow up with customers post-event to understand challenges, successes, and future opportunities.
  • Assist with resolving customer complaints.
  • Attend in-person and Zoom weekly sales meetings.
  • Learn rental inventory and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Consult with clients to determine event details and rental needs.
  • Prepare and enter customer orders and production schedules/timelines, verify entered orders for accuracy, complete all revisions/additions at the request of the client.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot rental inventory issues, as needed.
  • Work with several teams, including sales, inventory, and operations teams, to provide all necessary information for successful execution of events.
  • Educate and inform customers about all rental items available and cross-sell all company products.
  • Attend product showcases and educational events.
  • Attend industry networking events and build relationships for future business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Event experience preferred.
  • Proficient with computers (Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).

This is a full-time, salaried position plus commissions. We offer paid time off, health, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401K plan.
