Logistics Manager Senior Job Description

DCS Corp is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager Senior to provide support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and correlate requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program.
  • Collaborate with material support managers and product support managers to maintain comprehensive support plans.
  • Develop and execute logistics and sustainment plans to ensure smooth product transition to air logistics complex centers.
  • Identify and mitigate sustainment problem areas, specifically on CDA.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and develop plans and schedules.
  • Perform clerical/administrative/office operations support.
  • Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics, including supply, reliability, maintainability, and provide them in key logistics reviews.
  • Assist with planning, evaluation, and implementation of program acquisition and sustainment strategies to meet DoD guidance.
  • Develop program management documentation to support all phases of the acquisition and sustainment life cycle.
  • Develop briefings to support acquisition decision milestones and sustainment planning efforts.
  • Develop Business Case Analyses, Trade Studies, and other acquisition program management studies and analysis as required.
  • Provide expert logistics inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs) including systems specs, Electronic Warfare Systems (SRDs), Statement of Work (SOWs), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs).
  • Assist with development of program office estimates, financial and research reports, and other financial management studies, analysis, and reports as required.
  • Develop logistics planning documents to include Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), weapon system delivery and deployment plans, Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)/Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) packages.
  • Support development of system technical trade studies and other documentation for integration, upgrade, and modification efforts.
  • Provide independent analysis of system readiness for production and risk management purposes.
  • Support Test and Evaluation (T&E) Strategies, Integrated Test Team (ITT) Charters, TEMPs, and other unique T&E products as needed.
  • Assist with Capability Based Assessments (CBAs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), and Capability Production Documents (CPDs), along with associated risk assessments, briefings, and coordination/staffing documentation.
  • Maintain Requirements Traceability and develop required reports and analyses to facilitate updates to existing CDDs and CPDs.
  • Employ CBA data visualization and editing tools to aid in the efficiency of gap analysis in CBA development and generate Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) products.
  • Support development of Net-Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR-KPP) documentation, Information Support Plans (ISPs), Information Assurance Support plans (IASPs), and Program Protection Plans (PPPs).
  • Assist with development of initial planning products, reports, briefings, analyses assessing status, maturity, and applicability to fielded Range Systems.
  • Develop draft CONOPS and technology assessments to facilitate warfighter consideration of future capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver reports integrating technology assessments with warfighter CONOPS, identifying potential acquisition program opportunities, parameters, and nominal schedules for use in planning, programming, and budgeting activities.
  • Assist with other developmental planning studies, analysis, and reports as required.
  • Assist the Government in performing source selection tasks, including recommending evaluation areas, factors, sub-factors, elements, and criteria, developing and administering source selection documentation, and drafting, reviewing, and finalizing reports, summaries, memorandums, and briefings necessary to the source selection process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational program and 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoD or a Master's Degree from an accredited educational program and 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance.
