This division is dedicated to providing global life cycle support across the full spectrum of C2ISR capabilities, including supply chain management, acquisition, engineering, maintenance, financial planning, and contracting functions.

This full-time position is integral to the Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch, which plays a crucial role in executing major programs within the C2ISR Division.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting configuration management activities and implementing logistics best practices in accordance with DoD guidelines.
  • Reviewing and suggesting modifications to program-specific specifications to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Maintaining up-to-date drawing packages for all modifications and ensuring proper documentation is filed.
  • Providing technical support and analysis for various program issues, including field and depot concerns.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) to facilitate configuration changes.
  • Collaborating with Technical Content Managers to manage the publication and distribution of technical order changes.
  • Supporting engineering plans and maintaining OSS&E baselines through effective configuration management.
  • Generating performance metrics related to configuration management activities.
  • Reviewing change proposals and assessing their impact on program requirements.
  • Participating in audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to established processes.
  • Facilitating the transition to a digital technical order system.
  • Monitoring and processing parts listings to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Providing integrated logistics support, including provisioning and maintenance data collection.
  • Conducting analyses to ensure the availability of parts necessary for repair capabilities.
  • Utilizing software tools to identify and recommend improvements to equipment readiness.

Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the work. Candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma with 16 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in the DoD.
  • An active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with radar or electronics systems is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

A Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in the DoD, is highly desirable.
