Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Android Engineer to join our team at PayPal. As a key member of our mobile engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Android applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Android applications using the latest technologies and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable units of work
  • Ensure high-quality and performance of our applications
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to help them grow and develop their skills

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in mobile development, with a focus on Android
  • 5+ years of experience as a tech lead or architect of a mobile team
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest Android technologies and frameworks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science
