Are you dedicated to delivering high-quality education to bilingual learners while enhancing their proficiency in both English and Spanish?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educational staff to establish instructional objectives and methodologies in accordance with district standards.
  • Implement lesson plans that adhere to educational guidelines, board policies, and cater to diverse learning preferences.
  • Regularly evaluate student performance and modify teaching techniques as necessary.
  • Contribute to campus improvement initiatives and engage in adaptations for special education curricula.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a bachelor's degree and a valid Texas Teacher Certificate with bilingual endorsements.
  • Understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS), and strategies for second language acquisition.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Equipment Utilized: Personal computer and standard teaching tools.
  • Posture: Extended periods of standing, frequent bending, pushing, and twisting.
