Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at RUSH Kids Pediatric Therapy. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children with a range of physical and developmental needs.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy needs, working under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals and improve their functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid state physical therapy license/registration required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques and to work in a fast-paced environment.
