Position Summary:

  • is prepared to take depositions of key witnesses, perform direct and cross-examinations during trials, and manage oral arguments on motions before the court.
  • is an experienced attorney with a focus on civil defense, including representation of major corporations.
  • is adept at independently preparing intricate casualty cases for trial and advocating for clients in court as part of a trial team.
  • understands how to respond to discovery requests and draft legal briefs.
  • is a skilled litigator who enjoys direct client engagement, crafting innovative solutions, and tackling complex legal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in all facets of litigation defense practice.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and various legal documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Engage directly with clients and have the opportunity to promote your skills and expertise for future roles.
  • Collaborate with other seasoned attorneys within the firm, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Oversee a caseload of complex civil litigation matters.
  • Handle all aspects of assigned cases, from initial investigation through to jury trial.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
  • Experience in litigation or trial practice.
  • Exceptional writing abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and negotiation capabilities.
