A prestigious law firm, such as Illapa Search, is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate for an immediate opening in their office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 2-4 years of experience who is ready to tackle complex commercial litigation cases.
About the Role: The Associate will be involved in all phases of complex commercial litigation. Responsibilities include conducting factual investigations, managing discovery, preparing pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and engaging in settlement negotiations. Experience in state and federal courts is preferred, and familiarity with administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial. Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is a plus, though not required.
Key Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Active bar license or commitment to obtain one promptly.
- Strong academic credentials and a track record of working well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Demonstrated judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies clearly.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $215,000 to $240,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
