About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening imaging procedures, including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures.
- Assist physicians and radiologists in procedures requiring sterile technique.
- Prepare and administer radiopaque contrast media as needed.
- Assess patient conditions prior to and during all radiologic procedures.
- Perform other department-related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or a military training program of equivalent standards.
- Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with the Texas Medical Board.
- Registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists primary certification in Radiography - ARRT (R).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as per SDH policy.
