Senior Verification IP Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Applications Engineer to join our team at Siemens Digital Industries Software. As a key member of our Verification IP team, you will be responsible for the technical selling and support of our groundbreaking Verification IP (VIP) portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Work with sales and field technical team members to lead, define, and implement technical engagements that support sales campaigns.
- Provide technical leadership on all aspects of sales campaigns, including pre-sales and post-sales account strategies.
- Qualify the technical viability of sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.
- Lead VIP portfolio presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, effectively communicating the value proposition of Siemens EDA solutions.
- Integrate VIP in customer testbench or guide them to do so themselves.
- Proactively share account, evaluation, competitor, technology, and other useful information with peers, sales teams, management, and product divisions to help us compete more effectively.
- Develop and maintain ongoing positive relationships with customers.
- Ensure customers receive timely, effective support.
- Influence marketing and product groups to meet customers' needs and shape product direction.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure mutual success.
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent with 6+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA, or master's in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of work experience in semiconductor or EDA.
- Knowledge of one or more high-speed interface protocols such as PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, or USB.
- Knowledge of controllers for one or more high-speed interface protocols.
- Expertise in coding with Verilog/VHDL/SystemVerilog, and UVM is mandatory.
- Experience with integrating commercial VIP in UVM bench preferred.
- Individual leadership and initiative to lead pre-sales accounts.
- Excellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to break down sophisticated problems into manageable tasks.
