We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team at the VELUX Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability initiatives and contributing to our mission of creating a brighter future for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy efficiency strategies and programs to reduce energy consumption and costs across our North American production sites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze energy data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop energy performance indicators.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on energy management best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain energy monitoring systems to track energy usage and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development of energy-efficient design and business cases for production processes.
  • Work closely with production equipment designers to ensure energy-efficient engineering practices are implemented.
  • Provide input on functional area plans, expense budgets, and investment budgets to ensure alignment with energy efficiency goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in energy management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing energy efficiency programs and projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP operating system.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
