Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues related to PLCs, motor control centers, and electrical devices.
  • Perform electrical field work in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Complete work orders and preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and operate heavy equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of manufacturing experience.
  • Four years of electrical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and power tools for repairing and replacing wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Adherence to compliance, rules, and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passionate and motivated individual with a drive for excellence.
  • Wood products background a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.
  • Willingness to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment.
  • Strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to 12 hours a day.
  • Ability to work around moving equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
