Role Summary:

The Security Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of guests and staff within the resort premises. This position is tasked with safeguarding the well-being of all individuals on-site as well as protecting the resort's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the resort to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Inspect buildings for signs of vandalism or unauthorized entry.
  • Collect evidence and prepare reports for any incidents of theft involving guests, staff, or resort property.
  • Document any safety hazards, including accidents and injuries involving guests and staff, as well as incidents with resort vehicles.
  • Provide security oversight during special events.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints as they arise.
  • Assist in securing pools, buildings, venues, front desk areas, and offices across the resort.
  • Facilitate the transportation of paperwork and mail between different areas.
  • Perform night manager duties when designated.
  • Act as an ambassador for the resort, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

Experience in security or law enforcement for a duration of 6 months to 1 year is preferred.

Education Requirements:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A degree or certification in criminal justice or law enforcement is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Frequent interaction with guests is an integral part of the job.
  • The position may require lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 25-50 pounds.
