About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equine Sales Specialist to join our team at Land O'Lakes. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the equine industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Account Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to increase feed sales and market share in the equine industry.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with independent dealers, cooperatives, and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on animal nutrition and management recommendations, as well as Purina's feed programs and technologies.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting areas of growth and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
