Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and guidelines as documented in Damco's Process Documentation and Work Instructions.
  • Advise employees on customer-specific needs and communicate shift progress to supervisors.
  • Drive accuracy of paperwork and quality of work in the working environment.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of workers with the shift supervisor to meet work schedules.
  • Rotate throughout all lead hand positions within the facility.
  • Ensure team and individual productivity is accurately recorded and met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for training workers on customer and departmental specific requirements.
  • Actively participate in monthly Lead Hand Round Tables to discuss and promote best practices in the workplace.
