Clinical Care Technician Full Time Night Medical Specialist

Job Overview:
Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Care Technician to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide patient care and support under the direction of a registered nurse. Your role will involve identifying critical unit support activities and clerical/administrative functions, ensuring effective and safe patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service.
- Communicate effectively with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patient care.
- Participate in collaboration of patient's plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
- Report identified safety issues, such as hazardous environments, and medical errors.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- BLS required (American Heart Association).
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant (NA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN), Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Health Care Technician, or other clinical care program, and/or previous clinical experience as an NA, CNA, PCA, EMT, or nursing/medical student preferred.
