About the Role:

The Medical Provider (ARNP / PA-C) role is critical in supporting ETS' mission by providing medical care to patients enrolled at Evergreen Treatment Services.

  • This position requires strong clinical skills, including evaluating patients, diagnosing opioid use disorder, and prescribing treatment medications.
  • The role involves working closely with other staff members to develop plans of care that advance patient recovery goals and reduce risks of harms.
  • The position is full-time onsite, located at ETS' Olympia Clinic and ETS' South Sound Mobile Unit that travels daily to Shelton, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting intake medical assessments through physical examinations, establishing diagnoses and determining initial medication choices and doses.
  • Conducting patient dose evaluations and changing medications as indicated.
  • Making appropriate recommendations for follow-up.
  • Documenting findings and decision-making about care in electronic health records.
Qualifications:
  • Active Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (ARNP) in the state of Washington (WA); Or Active Physician Assistant Certified License (PA-C) in the state of Washington (WA).
  • Experience in drug abuse treatment is desired.
  • Possession of a DATA-waiver for prescription of buprenorphine is desired but not required.
  • All Medical Providers must also have Schedule II and below prescriptive authority from the State of Washington.
